This is a nice spicy and powerful Zinfandel, making me think of nutmeg and cocoa over leather with some dark fruit slightly in the mix.  I can't remember if I have had this before but didn't write a review, but this wine in nice.  While the finish doesn't make it to thirty seconds, the taste is probably better for those who drink cigars and like rich decadent chocolate desserts, though this would easily pair as well with vanilla, cherry, raspberry or strawberry concoctions.  Once you move past the spice and the leather, you do get dark plums and so this wine becomes very interesting.  It's good for the price, but honestly, I am still hung up on a couple of other zins thta take my breath away.
