I woke up like 1:27 this morning thinking I had a coin in my throat, so I opened up a bottle of Bootstrap Zinfandel.  As the day progressed, I was still thirsty and decided to open up this bottle.  It's good.  Deep, dark purple with a wicked dark cherry nose and a creamy feel with just a little bit of pepper.  This wine sneaks up on you in a good way, which isn't bad.  The power of it's alcohol is also evident in the nose, but the taste is well received and not too much one thing or another.

Our Mission: The Black Winer strives to expose African Americans [and others] to wines, without the flair, stuffiness, and airs of elitism and snobbery that you get from sommeliers and high level wine enthusiasts. We believe in finding something that you like the taste of, outside of the basic brands that you have been force-fed over the years through a combination of ethnically targeted advertising, and what people in your family have historically been drinking.
