I gave this wine a 9 because it departs from the overall stereotyped idea of what Pinot Grigio should taste like.  While this is another Pinot Grigio from the producer who makes one that I am totally in love with, it's not necessarily a winner for me, but not a loser either.

The nose is very floral with the scent of white flowers (I really have to start smelling more flowers so that I can place the scents better) and you have the high character of pears, but in a demure way.  The color is a nice straw yellow and the mouth is middle of the road.  It is a lovely wine, but unfortunately it is highly overshadowed by the Colle Ara.

Our Mission: The Black Winer strives to expose African Americans [and others] to wines, without the flair, stuffiness, and airs of elitism and snobbery that you get from sommeliers and high level wine enthusiasts. We believe in finding something that you like the taste of, outside of the basic brands that you have been force-fed over the years through a combination of ethnically targeted advertising, and what people in your family have historically been drinking.
