While I am still on a little bit of a Sauvignon Blanc kick, I try to find different ones in a variety of price ranges. This one went for less than $10.

This is actually the second time that I had this wine, and coincidentally, I had it with exactly the same meal; Chinese Pork Fried Rice, spicy, with shrimp added in (I get it from a little shop at 7th & Market Streets in Philadelphia).

I could only give this wine a 6; while the taste is bright, not to too bright, it's great for drinking right through. However, the taste does fade not too long after opening, meaning just twelve hours later.

Our Mission: The Black Winer strives to expose African Americans [and others] to wines, without the flair, stuffiness, and airs of elitism and snobbery that you get from sommeliers and high level wine enthusiasts. We believe in finding something that you like the taste of, outside of the basic brands that you have been force-fed over the years through a combination of ethnically targeted advertising, and what people in your family have historically been drinking.
