For the most part, I hate oaked chardonnays, or should I say that I really hate a buttery taste in my wine. I honestly drank this wine a little too cold, so that in essence, I didn't get all the flavor that I could from it (Note to self: purchase a good wine cooler).

Nevertheless, this wine is typical of a California Chardonnay in taste and texture, possibly being too complex for me to enjoy, but fine for many of you out there that like a wine that layers flavors in a way that it will take a longer time on your tongue for you to catch everything it has.

Our Mission: The Black Winer strives to expose African Americans [and others] to wines, without the flair, stuffiness, and airs of elitism and snobbery that you get from sommeliers and high level wine enthusiasts. We believe in finding something that you like the taste of, outside of the basic brands that you have been force-fed over the years through a combination of ethnically targeted advertising, and what people in your family have historically been drinking.
