Always looking for some new wines to
review, and always dying to try out the other labels of
wines put out by the same producers, I saw and picked up
this Beringer, having felt great satisfaction with the Napa
Valley Chardonnay.
This wine has a nice taste, albeit I was
honestly look for something a little more based on the new
label. The wine itself has a lot of minerality, bordering
on, as well as including stone (this is what cracks me up
that we would actually know what a stone tastes like; this
says a lot to childhood), and of course it has citrus
flavors, but not too much grapefruit... more like
grapefruit blended with pineapple in almost equal parts.
If you like sauvignon blanc, but could go
for something that's not too alive, but has a more reserved
and subtle approach, then this one fits the bill.
