At less than $10 a bottle, this wine is a great
bargain. Upon raising the glass to your nose, you
immediately are hit with lemon and grass (they say
lemongrass, which is the combination of the two). Unlike
most sauvignon blancs that I've tasted, this wine has
interesting nuances of both guava and passion fruit, though
you have to take ample time to calm yourself and
distinguish these flavors [not guling down the wine like
it's a mixed drink].
I believe that I paid somewhere around $8 for this wine,
which makes it a darling one to add to your summer
collection.
