Well, some things good do happen when you advertise on BlackPR.com, which this is one of the results of.

Not too long after I submitted a press release to the BlackPR.com, I received two contacts, one being from the Philadelphia Sun. Teresa Emerson was interested in me writing a weekly column on wine, which I eagerly accepted. While writing a maximum of 1,000 characters is a severe challenge to me, I hope that it"s a task that I can do well at.

So far, I started with one on The Death of White Zinfandel and the next one that I will address will be sparkling wine. Keep reading.

Our Mission: The Black Winer strives to expose African Americans [and others] to wines, without the flair, stuffiness, and airs of elitism and snobbery that you get from sommeliers and high level wine enthusiasts. We believe in finding something that you like the taste of, outside of the basic brands that you have been force-fed over the years through a combination of ethnically targeted advertising, and what people in your family have historically been drinking.
